opti 2008: Titanium high-tech spectacles by SEIKO

Technical perfection made from pure titanium for all indoor and outdoor activities – inspired by the SEIKO watch design

opti 2008 - Munich/Willich, 11 January 2008. With their latest spectacle models, Seiko, one of the most popular consumer brands worldwide in the field of accessories, combines technical perfection, robustness, sporty design and highest functionality. Seiko presents them for the first time in Europe at the International Trade Fair for Trends in Optics opti 2008 in Munich (11 to 13 January 2008), hall C3, stand 308.

The design of these new spectacle frames by Seiko Optical was inspired by the successful watch collection Seiko Sportura well-known from the world of unique watches and strongly orientated to motor sport. The Seiko Sportura 1/100 Seconds Retrograde Chronograph, which was included in the Honda Racing F1 Collection, presents itself with a urethane wristband that is an adaptation of the profile of the Formula 1 rain tyres. The temple design of the new frames T 666 and T 667 shows distinct design elements.

T 666 nylor frame in silver grey with spring hinge – also available in brown grey and pale grey

T 667 full rim frame in gold with spring hinge – also available in brown grey and charcoal grey

Material: titanium, non-allergic, corrosion-resistant, light and robust

These new Seiko spectacle frames have clear masculine features with refreshing lightness in weight: The prominent front meets rounded temple hinges, with various colours and perforation design at the temples. The eye-catcher: the Seiko Logo!

T 662 nylor frame in gold with spring hinge – also available in dark grey/smokey grey and black matt/smoky grey

T 663 nylor frame in smoky grey with spring hinge – also available in deep gun and brown grey

Material: titanium, non-allergic, corrosion-resistant, light and robust

The new high-tech spectacles by Seiko are made from pure, precious titanium – that makes them light as a feather and long lasting. A special spring hinge makes it nice and easy to put on and take off the spectacles. A further plus: The nose pads rotate on their own axis and can therefore be easily adapted to every individual nose shape. The high quality of the durable frames is also reflected in the non-irritant temple tips, which are protein-coated.

T 669 nylor frame in silver with temples in navy blue – also available in gold/brown, shiny brown/brown matt and in grey medium/black

These frames are also available as full-rim frames (model T 668)

Material: titanium, non-allergic, corrosion-resistant, light and robust
