Attractive plays of colour, fashionable shapes and high comfort of wearing: SEIKO Optical cooperates with a French design studio for new spectacle frame models

• SEIKO creates comfortable and robust spectacles for people with high demands

Willich, 7 September 2007. Nowadays you must be flexible and mobile to meet the demands of day-to-day life. People often face new challenges, concentrate very hard and sometimes travel around the world on business. In order to come up to these requirements without any problem, it is important for spectacle wearers that they feel good with their spectacles and can totally rely on them. One of the manufacturers of spectacle frames is Seiko Optical. People around the globe are familiar with the brand name Seiko, which was founded in Tokyo (Japan) in 1881, in connection with precise clockworks and time measuring systems that are used at the Athletics World Championship, for example. Since 1992 Seiko Optical Europe GmbH of Willich near Düsseldorf has developed, produced and distributed high-quality organic spectacle lenses and titanium frames with the brand name Seiko. From Willich they are distributed to 30 different countries. When doing research and developing high-grade spectacle frames and lenses, one core question has always been the driving force for all Seiko employees: “What features must spectacles have to give the wearer a comfortable feel?” The answer to that question can be found in the new models by Seiko Optical.

Delicate, feminine, with beautiful lines – this is how the new Seiko spectacle frames for ladies present themselves. All slightly classical frames are made from super light and precious titanium. So they combine outstanding properties that the wearers appreciate: They are non-allergic, corrosion-resistant and robust. Extravagant inlays of Svarovski stones in the temples (T 152), a play of colour from chocolate brown to light brown (T 158) as well as gorgeous colour compositions in orange, grey and lilac (T 162) are the result of the cooperation between Seiko Optical and a French design studio.
