Seiko Optical expands its inner surface progressive lens product range

A choice without compromises:
The progressive lens range SEIKO SYNERGY offers premium quality and state-of-the-art free-form surfacing to meet all of today’s demands

Willich, August 2007. Seiko Optical, the inventor of inner surface progression through free-form surfacing, has completed its successfully established progressive lens range SYNERGY. Seiko can now offer every spectacle wearer the benefits of inner surface progressive SEIKO SYNERGY lenses. The innovation and technology leader in optics has four materials from index 1.50 to 1.74 available, three progressive corridor lengths, over 200 tints as well as the Transitions® technology. Additionally the revolutionary SEIKO ORGATECH SYNERGY is offered with unique fully organic technology and features. Due to the innovative free-form surfaces the optician can choose from the latest designs with a progression corridor length to suit their requirements including options for small, fashionable designs.

„The progressive design SYNERGY developed by SEIKO excels by it’s high quality: The fact that the progression zone is approximately 3 mm closer to the eye leads to nearly a 30 percent enlarged visual field and guarantees the highest comfort of vision and wearing making head and body movements superfluous”, says Frank Lautenbach, Product Manager Ophthalmic Lenses at Seiko Optical (Willich). “Offering easy adaptation, even with short intermediate corridors, there are only minimal effects of magnification and distortion, ensuring natural vision.”

In addition it is easy to place an order. Rolf Pinternagel, Sales Manager for Germany, Austria and Switzerland with SEIKO Optical (Willich) states: “All the optician has to do is to choose the right index for the customer’s prescription. Virtually every other requirement can be fulfilled with the wide range of options available.”
